Refund Policy

Effective Date: 10 February 2026

This Refund Policy applies to purchases of KerfPilot, including Paid Beta licenses.

Paid Beta: what you are buying

KerfPilot may be offered as a Paid Beta (early access). You are purchasing access to the current Paid Beta release and updates that we may provide during the beta period.

Refund window

We offer a 14‑day refund window from the date of purchase, subject to the conditions below.

When refunds may be approved

Refunds may be approved if:

  • you requested the refund within 14 days; and
  • there is a genuine technical issue preventing you from installing or accessing the core Paid Beta features; and
  • you have contacted support and given us a reasonable opportunity to troubleshoot.

When refunds are not provided

To the fullest extent permitted by law, refunds are not provided for:

  • change of mind;
  • compatibility issues disclosed on the website (e.g., unsupported OS/hardware);
  • issues caused by your machine, drivers, or third‑party software;
  • requests made after the 14‑day window; or
  • where a license file has been issued and successfully activated on a machine (except where required by law).

How to request a refund

Email support@kerfpilot.com with your order email and order number, plus a short description of the issue. We may request logs or screenshots to diagnose the problem.

Processing and merchant policies

Refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy. Timing depends on your payment method and may take several business days to appear on your statement.

Note: Lemon Squeezy may issue refunds in certain cases (for example, to prevent chargebacks or comply with their policies), even if a request falls outside this policy.

Chargebacks and abuse

If we detect fraud, abuse, or repeated refund requests, we may refuse service, revoke licenses, and/or report the activity to Lemon Squeezy.
